The Armoury is a military storage building.

Description[]

The armoury is a storage building that stores military equipment. Weapons and armour is stored here, which is used by troops from the barracks upon recruitment. Craftsmen from workshops also drop off their freshly made wares at this building. When destroyed, all equipment stored in the armoury is also lost.

Sets of armour in an armory

Historically, it was always important to store an army's military equipment in its dedicated place. The armoury is used just for this, usually located in a military base and under heavy guard. When the army was needed to send to a mission or to rally, the armoury was the first point the soldiers were heading to, where they retrieved their armour, weapons and other accessories. Weapon handouts were often overseen and handled by a building keeper.

The armoury stores military equipment, with a maximum capacity of 50 units. Once the armory reached its capacity, additional armories can be constructed adjacent to the original building (similar to the granary and the stockpile), with a maximum of eight armories allowed.

The inside of your own and other players' armouries (excluding multiplayer opponents') can be viewed with the hover of the mouse.

The armory, being made of wood, is highly susceptible to fire and melee attack, making it vulnerable during sieges. When destroyed, all stored weapons are lost.

The armoury stores military equipment, up to an infinite number from each type. As a result, only one armory can be built.

The structure is made of stone, making it impervious to fire and melee attacks. It also has an attached wall section which can be scaled by troops if access is provided. Wall-mounted defenses, such as rolling logs can also be installed on it.
