The Bow is a weapon used by the Archer. Bows are carved by fletchers, who work at their workshops. Bows require a few planks of wood, which are then carved into shape by the skilled fletcher using a small knife and a rope made from certain materials, such as hemp.

There are many different types of bows. For example, composite bows are designed to force the user to use less power to fire the bow. Longbows are designed to fire across huge distances, and shortbows are designed for rapid fire. Crossbows, a different kind of bow, fires the bow using a winch, a pulley, and a trigger.
Archers would draw back their bows, load on the arrow, pull back the drawstring, and launch the arrow. The distance the arrow would fly depends on wind speed, how hard the archer pulled back the arrow, strength of the bow, etc. Because inexperienced archers take time to fire even one successful arrow, they are very vulnerable until they are skilled at the firing the bow. Crossbows, on the other hand, are easily used even by a peasant.
