The pig farm is a food production building in Stronghold 2 and onwards.

DescriptionEdit

At these farms pigs are bred by butchers, who later kill them and process their meat for consumption.

In Stronghold 2 and Stronghold Legends, pigs are a type of royal food and their meat is stored in the Lord's Kitchen or pantry. Pigs are one of the easiest royal food to obtain and their price is also reasonably cheap in the market.

In Stronghold 3 and Stronghold Crusader 2, pig farms replace hunters as the main meat producers. Pigs taken in the granary yield higher amounts of food and pig farms prove a much more effective means of production than hunters did.
