Walls in Stronghold Crusader 2 are tall and can be built in linear arrays, using stone. They can connect gatehouses and towers, with adjacent walls gaining connectors. From the ground, they are accessible through stairs or another gatehouse. Multiple wall lines can be built next to each other, granting theoretically infinite thickness.

Infantry can move on the top of walls, who benefit from better combat capabilities: projectiles from lower ground deal decreased damage, while ranged soldiers gain higher range. Mounted knights must dismount first in order to access the walls. Moreover, walls can be outfitted with various defensive tools:

Walls may be damaged by melee attacks and catapulted rocks, of which the latter causes collateral damage and sends units atop fly. They can be repaired by simply erecting a new wall line over it or with the help of the repair tool.
